Those are my words everytime I speak to a client for the first time when they decide to plan a family photography session with me. My process is simple. I know photography is stressful for many parents, and my goal for the last couple of years has been to give you and your family a moment that everybody want to go back to, a nice memory of that time we were together. All this starts with connecting and really setting up expectations. I want the families I photograph to trust me and feel at ease. Because photographs are meant to be precious but so is the experience of being in front of the camera.


The foundation of a great photography experience starts with connection. Before the session, I believe it’s important to truly understand who you are as a family, what you love, and what might make you nervous about the process. To help get a feel for your family dynamic, I’ll schedule a call with you to chat and learn about your vision for the photoshoot. During this conversation, we’ll discuss your expectations, any special requests, and the feelings you want the images to evoke. I also want to hear about what makes your family unique—whether it’s your traditions, hobbies, or moments that make you laugh together.


In addition to our call, I’ll send you a short questionnaire that will give me further insight into your family’s story and your session goals. This helps me understand the little things that matter most to you—whether it’s your children’s personalities, the activities you enjoy, or specific memories you'd like to capture. These details allow me to craft an experience that feels personal and tailored to your family’s needs, making sure that your photos feel as authentic as possible.


From the moment you book your session until we’re actually together for the photoshoot, I’ll stay in touch to make sure you feel comfortable and well-prepared. If you have any concerns or questions along the way, I’m here to guide you. My goal is for you to feel at ease and excited, not just on the day of the shoot, but every step of the way.
