Everytime I visit a new family, I am just amazed at the warmth feeling that they get to create in their own home. I just love how comfortable they get to be and how a family photography session in Washington DC can become something so unique and special when it is done in this space, where everyday moments of love and chaos happen.
This session was no different, this home was full of love and also great personality. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with a warm welcome, something I value so much during our family photography sessions, the opportunity to meet you. You let me witness the most vulnerable details of your life and that is something I will always be grateful for.
On this in home photography session, we were able to sit beside beautiful big windows while everyone cuddled newborn baby. We took also took brakes, because that is so important in my sessions, for toddlers to be comfortable and be themselves. We had snacks, we danced and played with their beautiful dog.
In between all these moments, I really took the time to observe all the details happening around, because those are part of what I want you to remember and go back to in my photography sessions, so you can re feel the joy everytime you look at these images.
As a Washington DC Family photographer I don´t want you to miss having these times captured in a unique and special way, homes don´t need to be perfect, in fact every home has it´s own personality and that is part of life so don´t let that stop you from an honest in home photography session.
